NATIONAL MATH DAY
Description: The National Math Day was celebrated by Junior School in a special assembly conducted by students of Class 5A on 22 December 2023 in the Mary Ward auditorium.
The event was attended by the principal, Mrs. Alice Rose D'Lima, and the Junior School coordinator, Mrs. Michelle Domingo.
The students explained that the Day is celebrated as National Math Day in honour of the famous Indian Mathematician, Srinivas Ramanujan.
Students shared the life and achievements of the Mathematician and explained the importance of Math in daily life.
Thereafter all the students of the Prep class sang nursery rhymes that were counting-based.
A Mental Math Quiz was conducted by the students of Class 5A for each class of Junior School.
All the students participated enthusiastically in the Quiz.
