SENIOR SCHOOL PICNIC

Loreto Convent School organised the school picnic for the middle and the senior school on 21 December 2023 at Surajgarh Farms, Gurgaon. The main aim of the picnic was to foster a sense of unity among students while allowing everyone to relax and enjoy a day of fun-filled activities.

The pictorial location chosen for the picnic offered the perfect setting for the various recreational activities. The greenery in the surroundings added to the overall charm of the picnic.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed and treated to a hearty breakfast to kick-start their day. A total of 499 students and 34 teachers were divided into groups, each led by the teachers in charge and an activity instructor which ensured effective supervision and thorough engagement in the planned farm-style activities. The day was well planned with a variety of activities like Zip lining, Camel riding, pottery making, pottery, magic show, folk and cultural acts and many more.

Throughout the excursion, they relished an array of delectable snacks and a fulfilling lunch, providing them with the necessary energy for the day's adventures.

It was very delightful to see everyone relishing the food with their friends while engaging in lively conversations.

To enhance the joys of the day, a dance floor was set up where students could relax by tapping their feet to their favourite music. The picnic served as a reminder that amidst an academic curriculum, taking occasional breaks to enjoy recreational activities is very important for holistic development.

Overall, the school picnic was a day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. The students returned to school safely at 3:30 p.m. with a rejuvenated spirit.
